AMDB8

It takes more than a spot of rain to scare off our alumnae, particularly when it comes to having breakfast with their daughters!

On Wednesday morning, Wenona Alumnae President, Ms Jennifer Mildren (Stiel, 1987) and her committee members welcomed more than 100 alumnae and their daughters for breakfast in the School Hall.

This was the second year that Ms Mildren has hosted this event, which celebrates a very special Wenonian bond across two generations. Both mums and daughters were thrilled to cross the school gates together.

Dr Scott, also an alumna, spoke about the core values that continue to underpin the School. In particular, she emphasised the importance of our School motto, Ut Prosim, that I may serve, that as relevant today as it ever was.

Ms Mildren then introduced the committee members, and shared some of the Wenona Alumnae Committee’s upcoming initiatives, including the 10th Women of Spirit Breakfast in May.
