1. Barbara Jackson Scholarship (means-tested) – The Barbara Jackson Scholarship provides 50% of academic tuition fees for Years 11 and 12. It is open to Wenona students and to external applicants who are in Year 10 in 2024.

This means-tested scholarship is provided by the Wenona Alumnae Association in memory of, and with thanks for the extraordinary contribution of, Miss Barbara Jackson MBE, who led Wenona for a remarkable 28 years, from 1967 to 1994.

The Barbara Jackson Scholarship will be awarded to a young woman who, through her participation in all aspects of school life, demonstrates considerable effort to their academic studies, as well as active participation in a number of key areas including community service, the arts, sport and leadership.

2. Wenona Alumnae Inc. Scholarship – The Wenona Alumnae Inc. Scholarship is awarded to a Wenona Senior College student who is in Year 10 in 2024.

The Scholarship provides $5,000 for the recipient in Year 11 and, subject to satisfactory progress in all areas of school life, the Scholarship will be continued for Year 12. This scholarship is granted on the basis of academic achievement (with an emphasis on effort), leadership qualities, an active contribution across all aspects of school life and a genuine service to the School demonstrated by commitment to the School’s motto Ut Prosim, that I may serve. There is no restriction on eligibility; however, the aim is to assist a girl who happily contributes to Wenona life, is a person of integrity and who supports the values and ethos of Wenona. This scholarship is not granted on the basis of a generational connection to Wenona.

The Wenona Alumnae Inc. Scholarship provides the runner-up $1,000 in Year 11 and, subject to satisfactory progress in all areas of school life, an additional $1,000 in Year 12.
