NSW Schools Titration success

22 Jun 2016

titration Inner

Wenona chemistry students won their centre at the NSW Titration competition, the largest analytical chemistry competition in the nation.

Titration can be likened to a liquid puzzle, where chemists mix precise quantities of chemicals to determine the ingredients of an unknown solution.

Competitors completed a set of acid-based titrations, and Wenona came out with the most accurate results of the three schools at their centre.

Across a number of centres, more than 1,200 school students participated in the competition. We congratulate our girls on their efforts.
