Junior School girls joined over 500,000 children across Australia for on Wednesday 25 May, 2016. Ms Roslyn Mahony, Head of Junior School, read Hattie Helps Out by Jane Godwin and Davina Bell to Years Kindergarten to 4 in The Independent Theatre. 

National Simultaneous Storytime promotes the value of reading and literacy. The annual campaign, now in its 16th year, celebrates the value and fun of books and encourages storytime activities. Held by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA), National Simultaneous Storytime addresses key learning areas of the National Curriculum.
