NAO robot demonstration

 NAO Robot Demonstration Article

09 Feb 2016

This week two Year 9 classes had their attention captured when they received a special visit from Brainery Interactive's NAO robot. The science classes participated in an interactive demonstration where they were able to see first hand the capabilities of robots, and how they are starting to transform different career related industries. The girls were impressed by the mobility of the robot and how she was able to communicate and perform skills on cue, through voice and facial recognition technologies.

The girls were equally intrigued by the superior dance moves of NAO and her ability to move in sync with the music. The girls also had the opportunity to see how simple it was to program the robot to perform simple moves such as waving hello and picking up an object.
