da Vinci Decathlon
24 May 2016
Wenona entered two teams in the 2016 da Vinci Decathlon Sydney competition. The girls challenged and stimulated their minds, completing tasks connected to the 2016 theme of Exploration.
An initiative of Knox Grammar School, teams of eight competed across 10 disciplines; Engineering, Mathematics and Chess, Code Breaking, Art and Poetry, Science, English, Philosophy, Creative Producers, Cartography and General Knowledge.
Wenona's Year 7 team competed on Tuesday 24 June, 2016 and our Years 5 and 6 team competed on Thursday 26 June, 2016. Both teams represented Wenona with pride.
Currently in it's 11th year, the da Vinci Decathlon began in 2005. The competition is run in the spirit of an Olympic Decathlon and celebrates the academic gifts of Australian youth.
